Coursekit Campus Founder Internship

See the information below on Coursekit’s paid internships.  They are looking for 1-5 students starting immediately.

We started Coursekit out of frustration with existing school software.

We’ve re-imagined what a class should look like online. We give instructors incredibly intuitive tools to manage their courses – calendaring, files, grading, and more – and we make it really easy for students to interact with each other.

We believe that there’s a lot more to a class than a lecture. Post links, videos, and files. Start discussions. Ask about an assignment. See everyone’s profile. Classes are meant to be social, but they rarely are. We’re changing that.

We started Coursekit as students at Penn. Since then we’ve left school, raised money from some of the world’s best investors, graduated from TechStars, gotten covered on TechCrunch, Forbes, and Mashable. And, most importantly, we shipped a product people love.

In the coming weeks, Coursekit will be launching to the public.

We’re looking for entrepreneurial students to help lead our rollout at college campuses across the country.

This is an opportunity to make some money, to get valuable work experience, and to be part of a team doing something big.

As a Campus Founder your job will be to work with us to strategize and execute our on- the-ground marketing efforts in the coming weeks. The objective is to spread the word to professors and ultimately have as many classes as possible using Coursekit next term. Moreover, you will help us introduce Coursekit to your campus in a personal way.

We designed this role knowing you’ll still have homework and lectures. The commitment is about 50 hours over the next 4 or 5 weeks. What’s important to us is that you believe in what Coursekit can do for classes and are convinced that you need to be involved. You’re a hard worker. You’re a good communicator. You know your school and know how to get things done right.

We plan to offer full-time internships to those who excel in this position. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you.
